About Carlos Sicilia
Born in 1961, at 17 years old, Carlos Sicilia started writing humor scripts for the #1 comedy show on Venezuelan TV (“Radio Rochela,” at RCTV). In 1983 he got his Journalist degree from UCAB College in Caracas, Venezuela also started writing and drawing “Chopo,” a cartoon comic strip. And then, in 1989, and on that same TV network, he began hosting a David Letterman-like TV Comedy Talk Show in the Spanish language called “Cállate Sicilia” (“Shut Up Sicilia”). He was on the air for about three years with a great comeback in 2000. Today, he co-hosts two weekly Twitter Spaces. One in Spanish, with former Mad Magazine cartoonist Leonardo Rodriguez @Leroguez and another in English, called “NFTs For a Cause” with well-known host Tonya Scholz (@KnowAging). He is currently doing creative bilingual consulting for Venezuelan and international advertising companies, and he is also an online humor advisor for Stand Up Comedians, locally and abroad.

About Tonya Scholz
Tonya Scholz’s titles & occupations were myriad – from a military sales rep., make-up artist, hairdresser, store manager, Goldwell account executive, Toshiba sales rep, Nars Cosmetics S.E. trainer, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) exhibitor account executive, Age Diagnostic Laboratory (ADL) consultant and communicator, to name but a few. In 2004, Ms. Scholz embraced the health & medicine field and became a Life Extensionist. To put her people skills to use and an early adopter of social media and digital marketing, she started the communications relations consultant agency kNOw-AGING, Inc. in August 2006.
Today, Ms. Scholz is the president of the Association for Women in Communications South Florida Chapter and has held that position on and off since 2008. Her multimedia talk show, Social Chats, celebrated ten years of Live Streaming in 2020. She has rebranded with a new website, relaunching some of her previous shows, and added new shows that she streams from Twitter Spaces.
